Matthias Quist MSc
Research Technician
My name is Matthias Quist. I studied Biomedical Sciences at Utrecht University. During my bachelor I joined the Biomedicine student Research Hub for the biomedical research lab course, which I would recommend to every student. Later, in my master I did an internship in the University Medical Centre Utrecht in the group of Niels Bovenschen, investigating immunotherapy for medulloblastoma. After that, I did an internship in the Prinses Máxima Centrum in the group of Marcel Kool, where I worked on developing organoid models for medulloblastoma. After the completion of my master, I rejoined the group of Niels Bovenschen as a research technician, where I help with the education during the biomedical research lab courses. I am excited to share my experiences with the students, to help them become better scientists.
